The calibration of the quantitative pipette should be in a room without ventilation, the temperature of the pipette and the air should be between 20℃-25℃, and the relative humidity must be above 55%. Especially when the quantitative pipetting volume is below 50ul, the air humidity should be as high as possible to reduce the effect of evaporation loss. Place a small conical flask on the 1/10,000-level balance, use the pipette to be calibrated to absorb distilled water (stored overnight) and add it to the bottom of the small conical flask, measure after each weighing, add distilled water after tare weight, continuously Add distilled water 10 times. The amount of distilled water to be added varies according to the different specifications of the pipette to be calibrated. Quantitative pipettes whose 10 calibration weighings are within the required weight range are qualified pipettes; unqualified pipettes need to be adjusted. After the pipette calibration is qualified, fill in the self-calibration record. Quantitative pipette is a new type of pipetting device used for sampling and adding liquid in chemical and biochemical analysis in medical, chemical and scientific research departments. In use, the liquid can be taken continuously or dispensed according to the needs of the user. The quantitative pipette can adjust the required volume at any time. In order to avoid cross infection, the quantitative pipette is equipped with an automatic detachable suction nozzle device, which is easy to use, safe and reliable.
Maintenance and calibration of quantitative pipettes:
(1) If the appearance of the pipette is abnormal, repair or replace the corresponding parts;
(2) If the range adjustment is not smooth, disassemble the upper part to clean or replace the parts;
(3) If the level of the suction button is not clear, check and replace the spring in the middle of the pipette;
(4) If the air tightness is not ideal, disassemble the lower part to check the sealing devices such as the piston and the sealing ring, and clean or replace it;
(5) The sealing ring needs to be replaced once a year to ensure the normal pipetting of the quantitative pipette;
(6) If the accuracy does not meet the requirements after testing and calculation, use tools to carefully adjust the quantitative screw on the upper end of the pipette.
