When we conduct biological experiments, we often use eight-tube centrifuge tubes, but centrifuge tubes can be divided into high-speed and ordinary centrifuge tubes. Regarding these two kinds of centrifuge tubes, what is the difference between them when they are used?
1), high-speed eight-tube centrifuge tube
1. Not to be used without training and evaluation.
2. Choose a suitable rotor and speed, do not use it.
3. Choose a suitable temperature, usually 4°C, not lower than the organic solvent, to avoid freezing and damaging the centrifuge tube and rotor.
4. Before using the rotor, wipe the pipe with a hole rod and carefully check whether there are cracks and white spots at the bottom of the hole. If so, turn around and scrap.
5. The amount of solution filled in the centrifuge tube must be appropriate. The stainless steel pipe has no cover and can only be installed 2/3. The plastic tube can be connected to the shoulder. The lid must be closed and no leakage is allowed. Centrifugation of empty tubes will deform. The use of organic solvents in plastic pipes must comply with regulations.
6. Centrifuge tubes must be placed in pairs, and must be tightly balanced, deviation <0.1g.
7. No turning is allowed without turning. To handle the rotor, a handle must be used to prevent the rotor from slipping. Turn the headlight and keep it steady. When turning the handle, hold the handle with your hand and turn the head. The rotating head cover should be tightly closed, the cover is not allowed to centrifuge.
8. Do not open the lid during centrifugation. Centrifuge is not supported. If the sound and vibration are abnormal, stop immediately.
9. After using the rotor, it must be removed in time and dried in the rotor chamber, and the pipe hole must be carefully cleaned with a cleaning rod. If the solution overflows, it must be cleaned, wipe the condensed water in the rotor chamber, and then open the door to dry the rotor chamber.
10. The centrifuge must be kept and must be registered after use.
2), ordinary eight tube centrifuge tube
1. Before leaving the centrifuge, carefully check each hole in the rotor for foreign matter.
2. The centrifuge tube must be carefully balanced.
3. If the cab is not clean, please seal the tube with plastic film.
4. Must start slowly and then accelerate.
5. Do not open the lid during centrifugation.
6. Don't brake by hand.
