A pipette is a measuring tool that transfers liquid from the original container to another container within a certain range. It is widely used in biology, chemistry and other fields.

Pipettes are widely used in clinical laboratories because of their simple basic structure and convenient use. Its basic structure mainly includes several parts such as a display window, a volume adjustment component, a piston, an O-ring, a suction tube and a suction head (liquid suction nozzle).

The processing steps of the pipette to completely remove contamination and residues:

(1) Disassembly of the dripper ejector sleeve: gently hold the dripper ejector, insert the tool equipped with the manual pipette, lock the mechanical structure, carefully loosen the dripper ejector, and remove the dripper Ejector and dripper ejector sleeve.

(2) Disassembly of the dripper cone: Use the tool provided with the manual pipette to carefully loosen the dripper cone in a counterclockwise direction with the end of the wrench; for a 5ml manual pipette, use your hand to move it counterclockwise. Direction, carefully loosen the dripper cone.

(3) Disassembly of various parts: Remove the dripper cone, the suction cylinder piston and the spring. If the filter is installed, remove the filter.

(4) Disassembled parts for immersion disinfection: put the dripper cone, dripper ejector, dripper ejector ferrule, suction cylinder piston, O-ring and spring into the bottle containing Biohit Proline Biological Disinfectant Soak in a beaker for at least 30 minutes.

(5) Dry the disassembled parts: take the dripper cone, dripper ejector ferrule and suction cylinder piston out of the beaker, rinse them with distilled water repeatedly, then dry, and dry with hot air for at least 1 hour.

(6) Maintenance and installation of various parts: According to the requirements in the operation manual, re-apply lubricant to the suction cylinder piston, check other parts and replace consumable parts, such as replacing a new filter. Reassemble and restore the electronic pipette according to the reverse steps above.

When the cleaning and biological disinfection of the electronic pipette are completed as normal work, pay attention to check the possible wear of the O-ring, and perform an inspection at least every six times. If necessary, it must be replaced. At the same time, after replacement, it must be Calibrate the electronic pipette.
