Can 200μL tips be sterilized by high temperature and high pressure? Will they deform?
Yes, our 200μL sterile tips are made of high-purity polypropylene material with excellent high temperature resistance. They can withstand high temperature and high pressure sterilization at 121℃ and 15psi for about 15~20 minutes without deformation, yellowing or structural loosening. They are especially suitable for non-disposable use scenarios that require repeated sterilization. For sterilized packaged products, they can be used directly without re-sterilization, which is more convenient and quicker.
Will the use of 200μL tips affect the accuracy of micro experiments? What volume range is suitable?
200μL tips are generally recommended for liquid operations in the range of 20μL to 200μL, which can ensure the best performance of the pipette within the working range. For micro experiments <20μL, 10μL or 20μL special tips should be selected to ensure accuracy. Using 200μL tips within the recommended volume range will not affect the accuracy of pipetting.
